Battle of the Brians: Awake & Dreaming with Music

So.

This morning I had the strangest vision. I was on the trolley on my way to work listening to Rihanna's "Don't Stop the Music" and all of a sudden I started to picture myself dancing to it.

And of course this is my mind we're talking about, so the dream then became more complex. And soon there were three of us dancing. [I am never falling asleep with that much sugar in my system again. I'm dreaming with my eyes wide open, not blinking, on a SEPTA Trolley with people staring at me. Sugar = Bad.]

Anyway, the dream is kind of like this:

The music starts...the floor is black and reflective like a beautiful slab of granite. The spot lights follow me from the darkness into the middle of the floor. My dress is covered in fire-red sequins and my hair is in a curly updo with a strand in my face and the rest tickling the nape of my neck and a red flower is in my hair [it must be a really nice weave, my hair is barely shoulder length. lol]
I'm slowly moving to the beat and then the music speeds up a little and I break out in "Salsa mode". It's like I've taken lessons for years of something because I'm an incredible dancer.

My boyfriend [Original Brain] steps out of the darkness and starts dancing with me. Twirling me around and moving his hips with mine to the beat of the music. Then rhythmically spins off the floor and back into the darkness and just as he does Brian [Brian 2.0] comes into the light grabbing my hand and dances with me just as my boyfriend did.

By now it's the middle of the song and then my boyfriend comes back into the light and the three of us dance. And it's really emotional as they're sharing me as a dance partner. It's like a struggle for my affection. And then towards the end it's like a rhythmic game of tug of war as they're on either side of me.

As the music slows, they both walk back into the darkness and I'm left there with the spotlight on me until it fades with the music.

So...

You tell me what that means because I think it's a sign that I'm gonna end up alone if I try to have my "cake and eat it too."
