I'm pretty sure that everyone has been or knows someone close who's been cheated on by their significant other. This time in one's life can be turbulent from all the drama or filled with adrenaline from the rush of doing something/being with someone forbidden.
In any case, here is a etiquette guide to Cheating.
Cheating, in my opinion, cannot be justified. It doesn't matter if your partner cheated first, or if you felt smothered by their undying devotion to cater to your every need and needed to desperately get away.
Cheating is cheating.
Here are some ways to keep you life from falling apart in the aftermath of Cheating:

Cheating, in my opinion, cannot be justified. It doesn't matter if your partner cheated first, or if you felt smothered by their undying devotion to cater to your every need and needed to desperately get away.
Cheating is cheating.
Here are some ways to keep you life from falling apart in the aftermath of Cheating:
- Do not EVER, EVER, EVER date the person you cheated on your partner with. You already know a few things about their character even if you don't realize it.
- They cannot be trusted. Why? Because they helped you cheat and we're probably cheating on someone themselves.
- You already know they have no issue cheating or helping someone cheat because they've been with you.
- They'll probably do it to you. They did it to someone else with you. What's gonna stop you from being cheated on by that person?
- If you don't plan on confessing to your infidelities:
- Don't confuse your partner with the person you cheated on them with.
- this includes using the wrong name
- talking about your day and including your partner in a situation that they were included in, but the person you cheated on them with was present for.
- If you do plan on confessing:
- Prepare for the sneers and trash talking
- People are going to judge you
- You're going to feel like crap
- You will probably lose that person and/or the connection you had with them
- You will move on
- You will survive. It's not the end of the world. You were wrong. Suck it up. It'll only hurt you as long as you let it bother you.
If you're cheating
- Rethink your relationship.
- You both need to talk because obviously one or both of you are unsatisfied with your current situation
- Try taking a break
- Maybe being in a committed relationship isn't your forte and you'd like to try an open relationship
- Either way, something's got to give
- I can understand that. Here are a few tips.
- Learn to lie. Anything detail that can be verified will poke holes in your fib.
- Become an elephant: Have an excellent memory. Never forget what you told someone. One slip up will bring your web of lies crashing down.
- Don't confuse your mates. This includes:
- Phone numbers
- Names
- Dates
- Situations
- Gifts
- And anything else that will be difficult to explain or cause confusion
- Have been cheated on more times than I can remember. [I pick the nicest guys, right?]
- Want to help others in their time of deceit or need
- Am not biased when it comes to cheating
- Have cheated before and I had an attack of conscience even though I didn't initiate the affair
- I love writing.
