I took a personality test a few weeks ago and I was shocked at how accurate the results I recieved were. Apparently my personality type is INTP. INTP stands for Introversion, iNtuition, Thinking, Perception.
Here are some of the personality traits for a person who is INTP. I'm sure anyone that knows me well, will agree that this is my personality FINALLY demysitified.
I find them all to be quite acurrate.
Here are some of the personality traits for a person who is INTP. I'm sure anyone that knows me well, will agree that this is my personality FINALLY demysitified.
- INTPs are usually quiet, thoughtful, and analytical.
- We tend to spend long periods of time alone.
- We also prefer working alone rather than leading or following a group.
- We have the ability to undestand complexities, but often fail trying to verbally explain results to others. This usually causes us to be acused of making things more difficult than they are.
- When we're insulted, we'll usually respond with cutting criticism. After the event we'll be surprised by what we've said, and feel like we've broken the rules of debate by exposing raw emotions.
- INTPs usually believe that emotions must be dealt with logically, because emotions handled improperly only cause harm.
- We enjoy asking "what if" questions and exploring the alternatives in life because it allows multiple possibilities to coexist.
- We've been known to work on a problem non-stop for hours until the answer pops in our head.
- We've been known to collect data from the present moment and compare it to past experiences. It sometimes causes us to feel emotions that are so strong we feel like we're relieving the experience.
- We also use experiences from the past to form goals and expectations of what could happen in our future.
- We've been known to live in situations that could be unhealthy for us because we don't want to disturb the harmony of the situation.
- We keep our emotions bottled up to preserve reason and harmony only to release our concealed emotions in childish outbursts.
I find them all to be quite acurrate.
